Madikeri Fort : The 17th century fort is located in the heart of Madikeri town. The district administration headquarters is located inside the fort.

Omkareshwara Temple: This two centuries old Hindu temple is unique of the peculiar architecture. The Omkareshwara Temple complex is built around a pool in hybrid both Islamic and Gothic styles of architecture.

Raja's Tomb : Again, interesting for its blend of different architecture styles, Raja's Tomb is another important attraction in Madikeri town.

Abbi Falls: This small but very popular fall is located about 7km north of the Madikeri town.
