[#bar-a] Privacy & Noise While booking skip the the seats at the both ends of the train ( Typically 1 to 8 and 65 to 75 ). These are right above the wheels, closer to the toilets and also next to the doors.
[#dot-a] The most convenient (privacy) are the mid section seats ( typically 25 to 49).
[#dot-a] Side seats (7,8,...71,72) offers relative exclusivity (not shared seats ). But less in privacy, since it's along the common aisle.
[#dot-a] Relatively secluded sections are the window seats, especially in the midsection of the coach (25,28,33,36,41,44)
[#dot-a] All window seats (1,4,...65,68) and with the upper berth, gives flexibility to use beth at your convenience (say during day time).
[#dot-a] All aisle seats are with lower berts (3,6,...67,70) are convenient to getin & getout. No climbing up needed.
