Jatayu Earth’s Centre is located in Chadayamangalam in Kerala’s Kollam district. It is easily accessible by road from Kollam or Thiruvananthapuram.
By Air

By Train
- Nearest Railway Station: Kollam Junction (QLN), about 38 km away.
- Taxis and local buses are available from Kollam.
By Road
- Bus: Recommended plan for budget travellers. Regular KSRTC buses operate from Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram connecting Chadayamangalam. From Thiruvanathapuram any long distance KSRTC service heading to Kottayam direction via Kottarakkata will pass via Chadayamangalam town. Get down at Chadayamangalam KSRTC bus stand, this bust sand is on the highway side . Take local autorickshaw (uber service not available here!) from Chadayamangalam town to Jatayu Earth’s Centre base (2 KM , 15 min ride)
- From Kollam, if the direct bus is hard to get, take private bus to Ayoor (very frequent connections). This is on the MC road, 5km away from Jatayu Earth’s Centre. Change bus connection for Chadayamangalam for Ayoor (very frequent connections)
- Car/Taxi: This is recommended option for family and travelers seeing convenience. The centre is located on MC Road (SH-1) with ample parking at the base station ( can get overtly busy during peak vacation season ).

- Kuttukal Cave Temple Is a short de tour for the heritage enthusiasts
Others Tips
- Take the cable car from the base station to reach the hilltop sculpture. Or trek uphill, if there a long queue for the cable car!
- Visit in the morning for cooler weather and fewer crowds.
- Carry a hat/umbrella and water. The locale is dam hot thanks to the expose boulder terrain!
- Allow 2–3 hours for sightseeing or up to 8 hours if you plan to enjoy the adventure activities.
- Book tickets online in advance whenever possible.
