The new expressway ( NH275 ) is ready most of the way from Bangalore to Mysuru. You’ll take anything between 2 to 3 hours, depending on many traffic conditions. What probably slows down would be the slow moving traffic in the Bangalore city to Bidadi stretch (about 30km). Beyond this traffic moves pretty smooth.
You’ll bypass Ramanagara, Maddur, Mandya and Srirangapatna before reaching Mysore. Some of the bypasses are under construction.
Take the NICE road (express way) out of Bangalore city. Pay toll fee for the Mysore Road exit. After NICE road exit, join NH275 and drive towards Mysore.
