The Windflower Sattva : This is a wellness resort, located near the Ranipuram National Park, some 42km (26 miles) east of Bekal. This Ayurveda wellness retreat, spread over a 20 acre rubber plantation.
Gokulam Nalanda Resort : On the edges of a palm fringed riverside. Close to Nileshwar town, about 22 km south of Bekal.
Thalathoor Heritage : This is a heritage homestay located near the Chandragiri Fort, where the Payaswini River makes a majestic bend before merging with the ocean.Thalathoor is in fact a century old traditional Kerala home build in 7 acre coconut palm estate.
Bekal Base Camp : Located on the edges of the beach at Pallikere, a bit south of the Bekal Fort. This is a state run facility by Kerala Tourism (KSTDC).

Kanan Beach Resort : By the sea side near Nileshwar town.
Mantra Beach Resort : Near the Thaikadappuram Beach, south of Neeleshwar Hermitage.
Oyster Opera : Exotic location, in a palm fringed island in the Valiyaparamba backwaters. About 35km south of Bekal.
Tailpiece : Apart from the resorts, Bekal also has a unique option to stay in the backwaters - houseboats. The houseboat hub of Bekal is located in Valiyaparamba backwaters, where the Thejaswini River empties into the Lakshadweep Sea. This houseboat hub is about 22km south of Bekal.

The Kappil Backwaters is located inside this resort. Seen in the background is the Kappil beach, a short short stroll through the coconut palm groves in the resort.
The shallow waters of the Kappil River that flows through the resort is ideal for Kayaking. One of the major outdoor activiti attraction in Taj Bekal resort.
Though it's a public beach, there is a private access to the beach from the resort. The beach is practically empty most of the times.
Seen in the background is Kodi Cliff, a rocky outcrop protrude into the sea.
The cottages are tastefully designed in a blend of modern as well as traditional style. The portico cannopy is designed in the traditional style of how the houseboat canopies are made, with bamboo and coir.
