he nearest main rail head is Jolarpettai Junction. Many long-distance express trains pass through Jolarpettai .

From Bangalore to Yelagiri reached by road by taking NH7 & NH46. The distance is approximately 150 km (93 miles)

Bangalore – Hosur – Krishnagiri – Vaniyambadi - Tirupathur – Ponneri – Yelagiri .

From Chennai to Yelagiri the distance is about 250 km (about 155 miles). You can reach up to Vaniyambadi from Chennai by NH46.
