[#car] Bangalore to Bangalore to Kukke Subramanya is a 6 hours drive (280 km), via Hassan. Or 8 hours (300km), via Mysore & Madikeri.
[#bar-a] Option1 via Hassan (faster route) : Take the NH75 from Bangalore (Tumkur road). At Nelamangala take the left towards Hassan. Drive towards Mangalore via Sakleshpur. After Sakleshpur - at Gundya - leave the highway anad take the left diversion to Subramanya.
[#bar-b] Option 2 via Mysore & Madikeri (more detour options) : Take the NICE Road & exit at Mysore Road. Drive on the NH275 towards Madikeri via Mysore. At Mysore, take the ring road (near Columbia Asia Hospital) to bypass the city. At Madikeri town, take the Sullia Road. Just before Sullia, take the right riversion towards Subrahmanya
Take the Bisle Ghat road (via Somwarpet), only if you prefer scenic route and don't mind rough road conditions.
Take the evening Karwar Express ( Train No : 16523 ) or Kannur Express (Train No:16517 ) from KST Bengaluru (SBC). Get down at Subrahmanya Road (SBHR). Take a share jeep or Auto Rickshaw (20min, 13km) to Subramanya town.

KSRTC operates many daily services to Subramanya (mostly in the evening) . Book in AIRAVAT CLUB CLASS for comfortable journey. Or KARNATAKA SARIGE for cheaper tickets. Both takes about 7hours from Bangalore to Subramanya.
