Krishna’s Butterball

This precariously balancing boulder is a curious tourist attraction. This located in sprawling area where most of the caves in Mahabalipuram are located.

n Hindu mythology Lord Krishna in the infant form spots a bolus of butter ball on his right palm. The shape of this boulder resembles a lot when looked at certain angle (from the main gate).

So the local people called it by that name.
